Autumn

Autumn!

Autumn comes and

the rain starts to drip.

Poles slip and trip,

mud flows and sticks .

Grass is flooded and mudded

And dewdrops race down a web.

Oak leaves flutter down

spreading along the ground.

A single butterfly glides

Across the ground.

And then I hear a

whoosh - the wind whirls and

twirls.But then I see the

Godwits fly

I say good bye, good bye.

  1. This is a brilliant poem max, I love it how it rhymes. You used those descriptive words like magic. I'm glad you remembered the godwits because they have a special connection to New Zealand
